Islands ambassade i København i samarbejde med Nordisk Ministerråd står for en spændende begivenhed på Kulturnatten 2019 foran Nordens hus i København. I anledning af Islandsk formandskab hos det Nordiske ministerråd I år, er det Island som er i fokus den aften.
Staka vil optræde og synge nogle vel valgte sange, bl. a. en spændende uropførelse af to korsatser, komponeret af Þórunn Gréta Sigurðardóttir. De to korsatser er en del af et større værk af kunstnerne Ólafur Ólafsson og Libia Castro.
Derudover kommer indie-bandet Hjaltalín forbi i to sæt, der vil være underholdning med ny islandsk stand-up med Bergur Ebbi og for de boginteresserede vil den store islandske forfatter Einar Már Guðmundsson komme og fortælle om sit forfatterskab og hans seneste bog.

The Icelandic Embassy in Copenhagen, in collaboration with the Nordic Council of Ministers are throwing an exciting event on the Culture Night 2019 in front of Nordens Hus in Copenhagen. This year Iceland is in the spotlight.
Staka will perform a selection of songs, but the main event will be the premiere of a brand new composition by Icelandic composer Þórunn Gréta Sigurðardóttir. The composition is a part of a bigger work of art by artists Ólafur&Libia.
The indie band Hjaltalín will also perform, the Icelandic comedian Bergur Ebbi will entertain the crowd and author Einar Már Guðmundsson will talk about his work, including his new book.
Remember to bring your Culture Night pass (Kulturpas). The concert starts at 8pm.
